Amy joined YINR in 2019 after serving as the Executive Director of The City Congregation for Humanistic Judaism in New York City. She was previously the Marketing and Communications Manager at JESNA, Jewish Education Service of North America. 

Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University. Amy lives in White Plains with her husband and two children.

Isio Jacobovitz joined YINR in 2019, bringing experience from both the profit and non-profit sectors. As a Senior Engineer and MBA professional, Isio held leadership roles for over a decade in a Brazilian Shul, embodying a people-oriented nature and devotion to Torah, coupled with an engineering and business toolkit. He is committed to serving Kahal Israel with dedication. Isio enjoys spending time with his growing family, including his children and grandchildren (three kids and six grandkids). Isio and Marcia reside in Teaneck, NJ.

HEAD CUSTODIAL STAFF

Mira and Anton Tuci
Head Custodial Staff 

 

Mira and Anton have been working at YINR since 2009. They are responsible for the day to day operations of the building and oversee the YINR maintenance team. Before joining YINR, Mira worked at JW Marriott as a supervisor. 

Mira and Anton live in New Rochelle with their 4 children, Alex, Altin, Frrok and Melisa, who are often at YINR working during the holidays and on Shabbat.

YOUTH DIRECTORS

Hannah & Rabbi Ben Book, Youth Directors

Hannah and Rabbi Ben Book have been leading the Young Israel of New Rochelle’s Youth Department since 2020. With their creativity, warmth, and determination to inspire the next generation of Bnei and Bnot Torah they have grown the program and department tremendously and continue to look for new ways to engage the community in a meaningful way.

After a year in Midreshet Moriah, Hannah Book worked as an Advisor for NCSY JOLT Israel for two years, an NCSY Advisor for the Philadelphia Chapter, and as a Madricha for Naaleh High School for Girls. Currently, during the week she works as a Postpartum Nurse at Greenwich Hospital.

After 3 years in Yeshivat HaKotel and completing his Semicha at Yeshiva University, Rav Ben (as he is referred to by the youth) has worked as the Programs Coordinator for Lifnai Vlifnim and for Yeshiva University’s Lilmod UL’lameid Initiative. He has worked at several Summer Programs, including NCSY JOLT Israel as its Assistant Director for two years  and Camp Lavi as the Director of Education. He is also the creator of “One Quick Thought on the Parsha”, a Krias HaTorah companion for Teens and Adults. Currently, during the week he teaches as a Rebbe in SAR High School and at night serves as the Mashgiach Ruchani and Programming Director for the New Rochelle Torah Center. Hannah and Rav Ben live in New Rochelle with their daughter Emunah.
